چکیده

The aim of this paper is to give an algebraic characterization of the family of static state feedbacks which decouple the disturbance, in a linear time invariant system, and which give rise to the minimal set of closed-loop fixed poles, while insuring the maximum of free degrees in terms of pole placement.

On the fixed poles for disturbance rejection

We propose a geometric characterization of the fixed poles for the disturbance-rejection problem by static state feedback and, in the particular case when the system is controllable, a structural characterization in terms of finite invariant zeros of certain open-loop subsystems. We propose solutions through which all the other poles can be freely assigned.

Fixed poles of H2 optimal control by measurement feedback

This paper is concerned with the flexibility in the closed loop pole location when solving the H2 optimal control problem (also called the H2 optimal disturbance attenuation prob lem) by proper measurement feedback. It is shown that there exists a precise and unique set of poles which is present in the closed loop system obtained by any measurement feedback solution of the H2 optimal control p...

Fixed Poles for Non Minimal Systems: a Geometric Approach

When considering the set of all possible solutions, e.g. by state or measurement feedback, of a given control problem (e.g. disturbance decoupling), complete pole placement is usually not possible, due to the so-called fixed poles: these are present as dynamics of the compensated system, whatever be the way the solution has been designed (within the chosen class). These fixed poles have two dif...

Almost Self-Bounded Controlled-Invariant Subspaces and Almost Disturbance Decoupling

The objective of this contribution is to characterize the so-called finite fixed poles of the Almost Disturbance Decoupling Problem by state feedback (ADDP) ′ . The most important step towards this result relies on the extension to almost invariant subspaces of the key notion of self-boundedness, as initially introduced by Basile and Marro for perfect controlled-invariants, namely, we introduce...

Disturbance and input-output decoupling of singular systems

The disturbance decoupling and the simulteneous disturbance and input – output decoupling problems for singular systems are considered in the context of the matrix fraction description (MFD) of the system. Solvability conditions are obtained in terms of the composite matrix of a column reduced MFD of the system, a characterisation of the fixed poles of both problems is given and it is shown tha...
